In my research and community-building roles both with the Digital Research Alliance and the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, I have led 40+ focus group sessions on advanced research topics related to the Canadian Research Data Platform and the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) Commons. These sessions have featured researchers, librarians, administrators, and tech experts in Canada and beyond.

As Assistant Director and Digital Humanities Research Lead in the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, I led virtual and in-person demos, workshops, info sessions, and discussions to onboard and collaborate with the HSS Commons users (1,500+) and dozens of research partners.

As Executive Director of Media Manifesto, a web design company I founded and operated from 2001-2011, I regularly led meetings, demos, and training sessions with 50+ clients. This work often involved educating clients, empowering them both to understand the services I offered and to responsibly maintain their websites and digital assets on an ongoing basis.
